KNM is known internationally, not only for its frequent appearances at the major European music festivals such as ars musica Brussels, Donaueschinger Musiktagen, Festival d'Automne à Paris, MaerzMusik, Berlin, musica Strasbourg, settembre musica Torino, UltraSchall - Festival für neue Musik, Berlin, Wiener Festwochen and Wien Modern, but also for its own productions including "HouseMusik", "space+place", "KNM New Music Spa", "The Stereoscope of Solitary Being" or "Clang Cut Book".

Ensemble Adapter  (Germany, Iceland)

Adapter is a German-Icelandic ensemble for contemporary music based in Berlin. The core of the group consists of a quartet with flute, clarinet, harp and percussion. Together with steady guest instrumentalists this core grows into chamber music settings with up to 10 players.
On international concert tours and in the studio Adapter plays world premieres and other selected works of the recent past. The ensemble also produces and co-produces larger interdisciplinary projects - and is interested in exploring and testing the limits of trans-medial approaches in various settings.
In workshops Adapter transfers knowledge of how to write, study and perform contemporary music to composers, instrumentalist and creatives worldwide. Adapter stays in touch with the latest developments in the differing scenes of contemporary creation - maintaining a progressive, authentic and powerful style.

UmeDuo  (Sweden)

The cello-percussion duo UmeDuo performs internationally with a diverse repertoire and has established itself as one of the most innovative young chamber music groups in Sweden. The sisters Karolina Öhman (cello) and Erika Öhman (percussion) play together since 2008 and performed extensively throughout Europe, in venues such as Queen Elisabeth Hall London, Musikinstrumentenmuseum Berlin, Tonhalle Zürich, Gothenburg Concert House, IGNM Basel and St. Martin in the Fields London. They have been invited to several renowned festivals including reMusik St Petersburg, Festspiele Zürich, Tehran Contemporary Music Festival, Klang Copenhagen, Sound of Stockholm and Meggenhofen, Austria. UmeDuo collaborate with composers from all over the world and promote a broad spectrum of contemporary music into the classical music scene. They have commissioned and premiered duos by André Chini, Leilei Tian, Ricardo Eizirik, Elena Rykova, Anahita Abbasi, Ulrike Mayer-Spohn, Malin Bång and Teresa Carrasco among others. In 2010 the duo was awarded the Alumni Förder-prize for artistic projects from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZhdK), and in 2011 they were admitted into the Park Lane Group concert agency in London. UmeDuo won the 1st prize at the 2013 Swedish Chamber music association competition. This resulted in a one month long tour throughout Sweden during the 2014-2015 season. UmeDuo perform to diverse audiences and are devoted to achieve a broader understanding and appreciation of contemporary music. School concerts and workshops with children and adults are therefore important elements of UmeDuos activities.

Stockholm Contemporary Guitar Ensemble  (Sweden)

Stockholm Contemporary Guitar Ensemble ( S.C.G.E ) is a newly formed ensemble with a focus on contemporary art music. The ensemble consists of Stockolm and Sweden's finest classical guitarists: Georg Gulyás, Joakim Lundström and Ariadna Abreu under the guidance of the composer and musician Mauro Godoy Villalobos. The music is experimental with improvised sections as well complex detailed notation with and without tape/electronics..
